I have always had a passion for fashion and trained in Fashion and Textiles at Llandrillo College, graduating with distinction from the University of Glamorgan in 2001.
Since graduating I have continued to broaden my skill base, specialising in vanishing techniques such as couture, crochet and textile art as well as studying eco-textiles.
Having witnessed first hand the disposable nature of Fashion, I set up my own label Phia eco in 2003, vowing to use exclusively sustainable, recycled and waste materials in each individually unique garment/item I design and create.
Beauty doesn't need to cost the Earth!
